I work as a producer, editor, cinematographer, sound, and writer on a variety of projects. I also teach filmmaking workshops and give presentations, as well as serve in panels and as jury for film festivals and grants.

2018—2019; Florida State College at Jacksonville 
Digital Filmmaking Professor
This was a temporary position as a full-time professor at the Digital Media Arts Department. Courses include: Digital Imaging Fundamentals, Digital Video Fundamentals, Digital Capturing and Streaming, Time Based Media and Visual Storytelling. I teach various Adobe suite softwares.

Digital Filmmaking Instructor
I taught at The Art Institute of Jacksonville, which is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Courses included: Fundamentals of Video Production and Editing, Intermediate Video Production and Editing, Digital Cinematography, Fundamentals of Producing and Directing, Conceptual Storytelling, Media Production Workshop, Senior Project Preparation and Production, Storyboarding, Fundamentals of Scriptwriting, Media Delivery and Distribution. Besides teaching, I also advised students on course scheduling.

I was hired by Pine Ridge Film & Television to teach the general public and credit-seeking students at the UNF Banner Center. Courses included: Certificate in TV & Film Production, Careers in Film & Documentary, and Digital Media Essentials–Managing Ethical Concerns.

This educational nonprofit organization offered emotional, living, and academic support to college students with learning challenges. My duties as a coordinator included: managing staff and students, assisting students in registering for classes, payroll, scheduling, hiring, communicating with parents and schools, and tutoring (one-on-one and in groups).

THE SECOND GEN EXPERIENCE (working title)
This feature length documentary conveys how the Holocaust’s effects seep across generational divides and ripple through generations of families. Currently in post production, this film is being created in partnership with Searching For Identity Foundation.

TERRA BLIGHT
A feature-length documentary about the American consumption of computers and the e-waste we export around the world.  Terra Blight screened at dozens of festivals around the world, won Best Science Communication  Film at the Reel Earth Environmental Film Festival in New Zealand, and it received an outreach grant from The Fledgling Fund. The film had a national broadcast on Outside TV and screened internationally on Russia TV and Free Speech TV. Both the World Bank and the US Department of State purchased rights to screen Terra Blight internally, and it received a glowing review from Oscar-winning director Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs). www.terrablight.com

A feature-length documentary about Sidiki Conde, a world-renowned, mixed-ability dancer from Guinea, West Africa. SiDiKi received a seed grant from Dance Films Association and it is currently available online free for all.

THE LEGACY OF JOSEPH A. STRASSER
Currently available to all at the Jacksonville Public Library, this film focuses on Joe Strasser who evolved from an American immigrant eight-year-old to a life-changing philanthropist who despite his avoidance of the public, worked tirelessly throughout his life to ensure civic responsibility.

INDIAN RIVER LAGOON: A VANISHING ESTUARY
This short documentary highlights the need to protect and restore the Indian River Lagoon in Florida. This film received the support of many organizations, and it screened at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville, Fl.
